Application Conditions

(1) Provided that they are in their final year of high school or have graduated; Applications of candidates who meet one of the following conditions are accepted.

a) Foreign nationals,

b) Those who are Turkish citizens by birth and have received permission from the Ministry of Internal Affairs to renounce Turkish citizenship, and their minor children registered in the Turkish Citizenship Renunciation Document, who document that they have a Document Regarding the Exercise of Granted Rights received in accordance with the Turkish Citizenship Law, [Article 7 of the Turkish Citizenship Law No. 5901 states “ (1) A child born in marriage to a Turkish citizen mother or father, inside or outside Turkey, is a Turkish citizen.” It is useful for candidates who will apply for student admission quotas from abroad to review the Turkish Citizenship Law.]

c) While a foreign national, with citizenship acquired later, Turkish Republic. Those who have acquired citizenship / dual nationals in this situation,

d) T.R. students who attended secondary education abroad before 01/02/2013. National students who spent the last three years of their secondary education (high school) in TRNC. Those who completed their entire secondary education (high school) in a foreign country, except TRNC. including those who completed their studies in Turkish schools opened by the Ministry of Education in a foreign country]

e) Candidates who started their secondary education abroad after 01/02/2013 must complete their entire secondary education (high school) in TRNC according to the international admission quotas. Those who completed their entire secondary education (high school) in a foreign country, except TRNC. including those who completed their studies in Turkish schools opened by the Ministry of Education in a foreign country]

f) TRNC Applications are accepted from those who are nationals, reside in TRNC and have GCE AL exam results and completed their secondary education in TRNC, and candidates who have or will have GCE AL exam results by enrolling and studying at colleges and high schools in other countries between 2005-2010.

(2) Applications of candidates with one of the following conditions will not be accepted.

a) T.R. Those who are nationals and completed their entire secondary education in Turkey or TRNC,

b) TRNC Citizens, (except those who completed their entire secondary education in TRNC high schools and have GCE AL exam results, and those who registered and received education in colleges and high schools in other countries between 2005-2010 and have or will have GCE AL exam results)

c) His first nationality by birth is Turkish Republic, as defined in paragraph (b) of the first paragraph of Article 6. Those who have dual citizenship, (except for those who meet the conditions in paragraph (d) of the first paragraph of Article 6)

d) One of his nationalities is TRNC. Those who have dual citizenship, (except those who have completed their entire secondary education in TRNC high schools and have GCE AL exam results, and those who have or will have GCE AL exam results by enrolling and receiving education in colleges and high schools in other countries between 2005-2010),

e) Turkish Republic students who received their education in schools within the embassies in Turkey and foreign high schools in Turkey. Citizen or whose first nationality by birth is Turkish Republic, as defined in paragraph (b) of the first paragraph of Article 6. Applications from dual nationals are not accepted.
